eavesdropping...

when i was downloading the bowling pictures there were about 20 videos that makenzie had made yesterday. i started deleting them because they were only like a second long. then i stopped and decided to bunch them all together to see what it said. i'm so bummed that she kept hitting the on/off button because i would have loved to hear all of what she was saying! there are just bits and pieces, who knows what she was really talking about. and she keeps thinking it's not working. so funny! i think i need to show her how she knows its recording. :)

a little family fun...

we decided to get out tonight and do something fun. we decided to go bowling. this was makenzie's first time bowling and we had a great time! the bumpers came up when she bowled and went down for michael and i. it was great! she could hold the ball fine but it was obviously heavy to actually roll it right, so she basically dropped it and we waited 2 minutes for it to get to the end. :) she did pretty good though, she scored 54!

makenzie and i went down to carlsbad to see my long time friend, michelle. michelle has a little girl, emily that is a year younger than makenzie. she also has a 19 month old and a 4 month old, ya she's a busy mom. :) makenzie had a great time with all of them.

i had one of those embarrassing mom moments there though. the girls were upstairs playing and when we went to check on them they were both in taylor's crib. ya, makenzie taught emily how to climb in and out of the crib. ugh...so bad! emily had never even considered that before makenzie came to play. and michelle told me emily continued to do that all week. great, it will definitely be lecture time for makenzie before we go play there again!

well, i did it! yay for blogging every day in november! i actually blogged 33 times in the 30 days. maybe it will be my new year's resolution to blog everyday in 2009. :)
