we went to the dentist today for makenzie. last time she went to the dentist it was a terrifying, horrible experience for her. she cried the whole time, was so stressed out about it, we never even got through the appointment. so we tried again, but at a pediatric dentist in the area that had great reviews. she was super nervous again but within minutes calmed down. they brushed and polished her teeth, took x-rays, everything. i was so glad it went so well. they just knew how to deal with kids so well and made her so comfortable. i was so thankful for a better experience. all day she's talked about it and now wants to be a dentist. one for kids. haha:)

and biggest news of all that MADE makenzie's day is that she has 2 wiggly teeth! i had no idea it would come this soon!?!?! her two bottom teeth are starting to loosen. they showed us in the xrays that the big teeth are beginning to push their way up. the dentist said she thinks that they will come out in 3-4 months! crazy! makenzie was so excited to have wiggly teeth!

Wow, it is good you are starting her early. I think my mom started us when we were like 10 or so. We went to a kid dentist, but it was NEVER fun, not even the toy they gave us at the end. I am glad she had a good experience, it will encourage her to take care of her teeth. And how FUN! THe tooth fairy will be coming to your house real soon. :)
oh man, kids losing teeth is going to be the WORST part of parenthood. I get sick to my stomach even looking at this picture...YUCK YUCK YUCK! 3-4 mo with wiggly teeth seems like a long time - I bet they fall out sooner!
