competitive team night...

we went out last night for competitive team night with jeff and jessica. they came up with the idea of the couples matching for game night. last week they were team argyle and their friends were team star wars. last night we went out bowling with them. we were trying to think of something we had here at the house to use for our matching outfits. i thought of 50's look, jeans and white t-shirts. so we were getting them on and my shirt didn't look 50s enough. so then michael thought of "laguna beach family portrait" theme. you know, when the whole family is in white t's and jeans for their pic!?! haha. so funny. and to top it all off we put a big huge bow in makenzie's hair and michael did his hair in a "dad" style. seriously, he looked SOOO funny! it's amazing how a hairstyle can change your whole look! it was awesome. and michael and i beat them at bowling, so it was a great night! :)

then we went to sushi. makenzie goes with michael to sushi alot and loves it. it's so funny to me. she loves the fish bones, octopus and more. she keeps wanting me to eat it but i tell her that is her and daddy's thing. :) i think that is one reason she likes it, she feels like she makes him so proud. :) it's pretty funny that this girl will eat it though. just this week i was battling her about eating a quesadilla! crazy girl doesn't eat a quesadilla but will happily eat fish bones.

michael, jeff and jessica are well known at the sushi restaurant and now makenzie is too. :) when we got there they brought an appetizer of baby mackral to eat. makenzie just picked it up and took a bite like it was a potato chip!
