makenzie has a stuffed kitty that she loves. she told me last month that she wanted to be a grey kitty like her for halloween. after looking around most of the cat costumes are black or white. i didn't really want to just buy her grey sweats and somehow come up with ears and a tail. i twittered about it one day and my friend erin responded saying that her niece was a "knitted" kitty one year with knitted ears and tail and a knitted sweater. i thought the idea sounded adorable and wished i knew how to knit. well, i ended up finding a girl on etsy.com that made kitty beanies that were so cute (whatsonaname) i had her make one for makenzie as well as a little tail. my search for the knitted grey sweater was way more difficult than i thought it was going to be. i ended up finding one in the boy's section! :) i thought it turned out pretty cute and makenzie was very happy with it.

we went trick or treating with our neighborhood friends. we have so many great friends here. makenzie had so much fun.
