another disneyland day...

on friday michael had an all day workshop with someone here at the house so makenzie and i decided to leave for the day. we went to disneyland. i really don't like going this time of year. it's too hot and too crowded. we are spoiled, it's so great to go in the off months that the crowded months are just not as fun. so we decided to do different things in the parks since it was so crowded and the lines were too long.

we went the the bug's life water play area. i brought makenzie's bathing suit. i knew she wouldn't be one of those kids that gets all wet in their clothes and walks around the park sopping wet. she had so much fun! then we went to the aladdin show. it was great too! after that we went over to disneyland to see the princesses. it was a 2 hour wait. luckily my brother called and they had just gotten there. makenzie was excited to see them so she decided she didn't want to spend time in the princess line. thank goodness!

we met up with my brother and his family. it was noelle's 9th birthday. the girls played in the brother bear play area on all the ropes, bridges, rope swings, and rock climbing. they played there forever and had a great time.

makenzie's legs are so long! it's always surprising to me that she is actually short for her age when i look at her legs. hopefully she will always have long, slender legs! :)
