playing in the snow...

on new year's day we took makenzie up to big bear to play in the snow. we sledded, had a snow ball fight, tried to build a snowman, made snow angels, etc. it was alot of fun. makenzie had alot of fun until all of a sudden she started crying that she was so cold she couldn't handle it anymore. turns out she had a ton of snow down her boots and her ankles and feet were frozen! i felt so bad for her! i called a couple friends to see if they had sleds and a friend of mine said they use their boogie boards. it worked perfectly! looked a little lame but it worked. michael and i had a lot of fun sledding. our path was getting so good when makenzie said she was done. she was worn out walking back up the hill each time. :)
