january random...

i've been so annoyed with myself that i haven't blogged but i really have had nothing to blog about! life has just been going, time flying as always. makenzie was sick and out of school for a week then went back to school for 2 days and out the rest of the week with a fever. it was sad. but we are all healthy now and hoping to stay that way!

not much has been going on but i have taken a few random iphone pics in the last couple weeks, so here you go!

on new years eve we went to hang out with some friends. they have a little girl and makenzie had so much fun playing with her. she came out to talk to me and slipped on the laminate floor and went crashing into the corner of the glass coffee table. it was like slow motion watching it happen. i was just about to say "slow down, you are going to slip!" i was freaked, totally thought we were going to be at the emergency room getting stitches. but it turned out to be just a small cut and a huge bruise. it was crazy and took quite a while to heal. it actually got even worse looking than this!



so excited to go back to school after christmas break. sadly this is also the day that on the way home she told me her throat her. her tonsils were crazy swollen and full of white spots. found out it wasn't strep, just a virus, but she was out all week.

an apron that we made on her sewing machine. she also made one for her friend's birthday. she was so excited to give it to her. it was adorable.


she's into having her hair curled, it's so cute. one night i went in to check on her and saw that she had put curlers on bobby. so adorable. :)


one day that michael was out of town we decided to go to the beach. it was a beautiful day and makenzie had so much fun. we should do this more often. she could spend all day playing there.





we built a tunnel and then poured water through it. she thought that was awesome. :)



since her doll, aly, has dangly earrings makenzie has been wanting a pair like that. we found some the other day. this is me trying to get a picture of them and her giggling too much to get a good picture. she always holds her breath to take a picture and then gets all worn out if it takes a while. what a goof.







one day at the store makenzie saw a night mask and told me she needed one. i laughed and said i didn't think so. well, last night when i went to check on her before going to bed i found her like this. i guess she improvised a night mask with a dress up headband! :)



so, that's it for the random. i'll come up with some more fun things to blog about. :)
