school pictures...

i love that michael is a photographer and we have amazing pictures of makenzie. and obviously they are way better than a school picture. but there is something just about the keepsake of school pictures that you just have to have it. well, we missed school picture day because of jeff and jessica's wedding. but they had a retake day at the end of october. and then i completely forgot about it! i was so bummed when i realized it that afternoon when makenzie came home from school. not that she's not adorable, but she wasn't in the outfit i would have picked for school pictures and her hair wasn't in my favorite style and to top it off she had fallen off her scooter the day before and scraped her cheek! :) oh well, she's still a cutie.
