so busy...

i know i've been a bad blogger lately, especially with such a great streak going. things have been so busy lately, i hardly feel like there are enough hours in the day.

here's what we have been busy with...

1. friends


i had my friend jessica over for a couple days with her baby will. one of the days our friend michelle came up with her kids, emily, jacob and taylor for a playdate. we all have known each other since junior high, it was a fun day catching up and hanging out together.

also in the friends category we have been hanging out with other friends alot too, we had a dinner party at jessicas last week that was a lot of fun. i really enjoy having such a great group of people to hang out with.

2. sick



unfortunately after leaving my house michelle found out that her babysitter had the stomach bug and had watched her kids the day before. this bug was very catchy! first emily got it, then michelle, then me and makenzie got it and then jessica and will and josh and the rest of michelle's family!! it was crazy! it hit makenzie and i so fast, we ended up throwing up on the side of the road coming home from dinner! it continued for several hours into the middle of the night. no fun! luckily michael didn't catch it too.

3. the gym



we joined the gym a couple weeks ago. i've been going to the classes each day with my friends jessica and candace. it's been great because i'm not the best worker-outer. i have a hard time when i am on a treadmill or an elliptical machine really making it a good workout. but in a class im forced to be there for an hour and follow along! im still very sore from all the workouts but i like it and am excited to see some results.

4. the park



after naps and before dinner we always go to the park. i love my neighborhood. there are so many kids and it's so fun for makenzie to have friends to play with. i've become friends with several moms, so it's always nice for me too.

5. work



we thought january was supposed to be a slow month, but it hasn't! we are working on about 10 albums right now, taxes, emails, meetings, etc. it just hasn't slowed down. so i am trying to squeeze my work in the day too.

6. tv




haha, most importantly :) just kidding, we are sooo behind on tv watching. thank goodness for tivo. and we dont even really watch that many shows! but im behind on greys, private practice, american idol... and we have been watching the dvd series of the hbo show "big love". it's about a polygamist family living in the suburbs. it's really interesting and a good show.

see....busy! now you can see what i have been slacking on my blogging. i'll try to do better. i think im making my 5 readers sad.
