notice a theme ???

i had a sore throat yesterday that hit me hard last night about midnight. i couldn't swallow, huge tonsils, fever, chills, etc. it was awful. i went to the doctor today to find out that i have strep throat and the onset of double ear infections. i'm happy to have medicine in me and looking forward to it taking away my pain soon. and we are all praying that michael and makenzie do not catch this from me. and look at me, i'm blogging in spite of being ill!

i mentioned the straight line for the mouth on makenzie's pumpkin carving yesterday. it seems to be that this is how she draws all her mouths on her drawings. here are two art projects she brought home from school and a drawing she drew this summer all with the straight line for a mouth. i think i need to teach her to curve it up so they can look like happy art.

on her scarecrow she came home and said, it's a girl scarecrow. then she said, oh she needs eyelashes and lipstick haha. so she added that, thats the green part on the face. so funny cuz thats how they always make girls on cartoons or whatever, they are the ones with eyelashes.
